A memorable Vermont autumn landscape image. Valley fog is common on October mornings in this part of Vermont. The fog lingered this morning and allowed me to make several special images. A picture perfect morning for those who love the Vermont and New England autumn countryside.
Welcome to my FAA website. My hope is that you enjoy what you see here as much as I enjoyed making these images. I learned how to make photographs with film; first 35mm and then medium format. Today the pursuit continues with digital cameras and photographic software. Good fortune allows me to live in a beautiful place - northern Vermont, where there are endless year round opportunities to photograph nature and the changing landscape. I am drawn to dramatic/graphic and intimate/quiet landscapes. Often the challenge is to artfully capture the interaction of season, light, and weather in compelling images.
