Welcome to my FAA website. My hope is that you enjoy what you see here as much as I enjoyed making these images. I learned how to make photographs with film; first 35mm and then medium format. Today the pursuit continues with digital cameras and photographic software. Good fortune allows me to live in a beautiful place - northern Vermont, where there are endless year round opportunities to photograph nature and the changing landscape. I am drawn to dramatic/graphic and intimate/quiet landscapes. Often the challenge is to artfully capture the interaction of season, light, and weather in compelling images. Great capture and work on this on Alan! Friends of my wife & myself went up there (New England area) last fall until my friend suffered a stroke. We were near Montpelier & took him into the hospital there at the time. We shortened the trip naturally & came back to Arizona. He's ok - not great - but ok now. Thanks for sharing the colors & setting of this one! Good for you!
